SMILE (South Meck Interactions Listening & Engagement) is an initiative where volunteers meet to support students, outside the student center, in the form of hugs, motivational stickers, dogs to pet, listening ears, etc. The South Meck PTSA holds these monthly SMILE events in the courtyard during lunches. They offer snacks, bars, bottled water, & words of affirmation and puppy snuggles. This effort is a small way for us to show the students at South Meck that we care, they matter, and we see them.
